I posted this picture on face book. I think it is adorable and want one for my child. Apparently people are now questioning my parenting skills......people have no sense of humour.

My big cat didn't come home last night which is unusual. No sign of him this morning. He has been a bit under the weather the last couple of weeks, and at age 13, I guess I am assuming the worst. A couple of years ago, he got really sick and I almost had to put him down. But he recovered, and I got to have two more years of cuddles. I hope he comes home, but I also understand if he doesn't. I know he knows how loved he is and how important he has been to me. You are a cool cat Penzance. Update: Found Penne curled up asleep. He is definitely unwell but still with us. Booking in to see vet.

Well the 12 weeks is until I finish at work, and I must admit I am getting a bit excited. I do love my job, but I think that finishing work will really make it hit home that baby is coming and give me some clear head space to get ready. Right now I feel I am juggling so many things. This weekend we continued our quest to get the house ready for our new arrival. I guess it is nesting, but we both want to get the house in tip top shape before she gets here, so furniture is getting reupholstered, new couches ordered, bed for her room plus planning big clean up of the garden and basement. Realise she won't notice that any of these things have happened, but it feels good to get our home ready for the arrival of the most important person in our lives. Other members of the household are not as excited about the upcoming arrival.
