Last night Grace told me that her friend Zoey told her that Sam thinks she is cute. Oh bless. She told me through one of her toys talking to me and she was nervous and excited. She said Sam helps her when she runs around the field and asks her if she is okay if she has had a fight with one of her friends. It was very cute to see her all shy and giggly and I remember the first time (also in primary school, in fact I was in the same room at the same school!) feeling that way about a boy. I'm also glad she shared with me, and I told her she can always talk to me about stuff and how it makes her feel. I hope it continues but I know in time it will stop. Until I will listen without judgment, support her as she experiences new feelings. My little girl is growing up.
