A Work In Progress

Today we put up our Christmas tree. Actually we started to put it up and realized we needed more lights. Which then turned into buying a new (bigger) tree. Grace also got a special puppy decoration which she adores. In fact she had to kiss it as she hung it on the tree. I wrapped all the presents we are done for Christmas!! Wow and its not even December!!

Found my sisters old Rubix Cube. Now determined to solve it BUT Grace has swapped some of the stickers round, does that matter?

Oh my goodness shopping in a crowd in a sale with a toddler is hard!! But she was amazing and is now rocking some awesome new clothes.

Grace was yelling at us for some reason. Then I started playing the Masterchef episode we had recorded. She stopped and started singing the theme song. Masterchef is my new tantrum buster!!

This weekend we had a wonderful house guest. My cousin was visiting from Aus, and it was such a fantastic chance to reconnect. It's funny how the similarities of family show through and how easy it can be to find common ground. We had a wonderful family dinner on Saturday, and I felt so at peace, as I always do when I see my family together. PS Grace was actually waaaay happier than she appears in the first photo!!

Not much to say except life has always been good, it's just that it got so much better when this guy turned up. Love you Chad.
