A Work In Progress

This year we lost Penzance. It was the end of an era, and it's been very sad to not have my boy around. I still remember life with Penne and Twinkle and how they supported me through my time in Australia. I commissioned my friend to paint a picture of the boys, replicating my favourite photo of them. I am thrilled with the results! I now want to get ones of Tui and Sputnick to complete the set. Might start hinting to Chad as a potential birthday present.....

Puppy and owner life lessons: ibuprofen accidentally left on bedside table plus curious puppy results in horrible few days for all. Good news, puppy is okay and pet insurance has proven to be a worth while investment.

Very generous, and tolerant hubby has allowed my special Barbies to be displayed with his Stars Wars figurines! Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn and Wonder Woman join Darth Vader, storm troopers, Chewy, Han Solo, Yoda and R2D2! Happy families!

Home alone. I lived alone for 10 years but now a quiet house feels so foreign to me. One ear listening out for the garage door, waiting for my two special people to return. Till then Truffle and I have been cuddling.

Grace and Chad went to Chipmunks today. She explained to me that they weren't able to go on some of the rides because they had run out of water. It took me a good five minutes to realise what "out of water" meant.... (Out of order for anyone still guessing.....)
