A lot has happened since November. After pretty much reaching breaking point with my job at Kiwicare, I decided to take a risk and apply for a lead team role at Pepsico (Bluebird) - and I got it. Had to give two months' notice at Kiwicare but today is my last day. Its been a hard few months with heaps of work to do and my sense of responsibility to ensure I do as much as I can meaning that I have kept working as hard as I did before I resigned. But now I have a couple of days off and start on Monday at Bluebird. Im excited and nervous - it is a big step up in responsibility but everyone I have told has said "gosh you should have been working at that level years ago". Shows that our brains and lack of faith in yourself holds us back more than our actual abilities. Chad and Grace are doing well. Chad's work has gone very quiet and his hours have been cut back.
