What a lovely day I have had. I was sitting here this morning, about to do boring things and a friend called me up and invited me out to the beach. We never did get to the beach, but we (including her adorable 8 month old son) did go to brunch, the material shopping, and of course lots of chatting and laughing. Exactly what I needed.
The young fellow was so good the whole day! He and I had gotten off to a rough start. When we first met a few weeks ago, I had laughed at him wearing sunglasses (he looked adorable - so it was not a laugh meant to mock him, but meant to tell him how sweet he looked. I tried to explain all this at the time but he did not believe me). Anyway, he then proceed to burst into tears, and then each time we met, he would cry every time I laughed!
But today, he was all smiles and was okay with my loud laugh and my silly faces that I made at him to make him giggle.
So thank you very much lovely friends - twas just the pick me up that I needed!!!
