My word we have had some heart stopping examples of how powerful nature can be. The earthquake that hit Japan yesterday, followed by the tsunami is incredible in both its scale and its force. The imagery is incredible.
Certainly puts any minor dramas in my life in perspective!
In my world, my furniture has arrived which is awesome. Thanks to the help of three lovely ladies, the majority of things have been put away. My bedroom and study are still a war zone but alas only I can sort through that mess!!
I have also discovered a heap of things that I don't need that need to be sold or given away - and that is currently crowding up my garage until I get the motivation to move it!!!
The thing that has annoyed me the most is the damage to some items in the move (which I will of course claim on). The strange thing is, some things in the pack were packed with extreme care by the movers - lots of padding etc. But other things (including really fragile things like a glass lamp and glasses) were just dumped into cartons with no protection and consequently broke. Very annoying!!!!
So today I continue the unpack and try to find room for all my junk - wish me luck.
