I know that many of you will be wondering if I have continued to lose cm off my neck through my training. Well I can reveal that I have lost a total of 4 cm of my neck over 6 months.
So with that news I am feeling very swan like today and expect comments if you see me.
In other news, life has been racing along at a cracking pace over the last couple of weeks and I am not really keeping up. I'm really not sure what happened since I came back to NZ, but I have gone from being super organised to constantly playing catch up. Don't get me wrong, I am so much happier here, but I also am feeling a bit overwhelmed as my to do list at home and work gets longer and I don't seem to be making progress on things.
A great example of this is my study, or as I like to call it, the room where paperwork goes to die. My study, formally a sanctuary of organisation, is now filled with piles of paper, waiting to be filled or dumped. At one point there was a system to the piles, but I think I need to be honest now and admit that they are just piles of crap, and given the note I just received from my insurance company, it would appear those piles also include unpaid bills......
Just like I have a personal trainer to make sure I exercise, I wonder if I can hire someone to follow me round my house and make sure I do all my chores. Yes I appreciate that my fall back position of "can't I just hire someone to do it" is not really the Kiwi way, but I am all about maximum convenience...okay, I'll admit it, I'm very lazy. Good thing I'm charming right - balances the lazy out nicely.....
So I head into Wed with another to do list for home and work and the blind optimism that I will tick something off it today. Wish me luck!
