While we are in lock down, I still have a full time job. The positive to this is that I have lots to do during the week and it keeps my brain working.
The down side is that Grace does not understand the concept of "working from home" and wants to play, either with me or if I say no to that, near me. Chad is doing lots with her of course, but he also needs to balance this with the things he wants to get done during the shut down.
So we are doing what all families are doing right now, a bit of a juggle between encouraging her independent play, combined with making sure she gets fun time with us, and most importantly trying to curb her raiding the fridge (apparently other Mums are struggling with this, boredom is resulting in cries of "I'm hungry!!!" across the country).
We are all certainly learning new rules of engagement for our family in this shutdown - but none of that is a bad thing! We are doing well and I feel fortunate everyday!
